IDF’s Warning System Predicts a Rocket’s Point of Impact

Great minds in the IDF are constantly thinking of new ways to make Israeli civilians safer. With the help of the Israel Air Force, the IDF’s Home Front Command is developing a new warning system that predicts a rocket’s point of impact before it lands. Millions of Israeli civilians face the threat of rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip, but this technology will allow them to live as normally as possible.
As part of the warning system, the Home Front Command is developing a new method that will divide cities and towns into smaller areas. “Hypothetically we will be able to warn people of a rocket attack on a specific street, rather than warning an entire town,” explains Lt. Col. Levi Itach, a commander in the Home Front Command.
Israel is prepared to confront and neutralize any terrorist threat from the Gaza Strip.

Rather than acting for the citizens of Gaza, Hamas has been strangling dissent and enforcing its particular extremist vision of society ever since taking power in a bloody coup d’etat in 2006. The terrorist group now in control of the Gaza Strip holds a Taliban-like grip over its citizens.
